This dotty background gives interest to the paper without using up your entire ink cartridge.
This page gives full instructions on personalizing and printing this invitation. Also details on making your own invites and other projects such as envelopes.
You could print these yourself or you may wish to load the free printable onto a disk and have a local printer complete the printing.
Alternatively, there is also a large selection of unique printable invites which are free to use.
The simplest way is to right click on the invite, copy it to Word, size it as required and print. You can complete the details by hand.
Tip - Mark an X on one side of the test sheet prior to printing. This will help you determine which way up to place the invitation in the printer.
It is great fun, and simple, to create your own color backgrounds and invitations. The invitation above took me about 5 minutes to create.
Your PC will likely have “Microsoft Word” and “Paint”. That is all you need.
Make Your Own - Simplest Version
You can have any color you wish. For example you could have school colors or the graduate's favorite color.
Next, add that final touch. Using clip art you can add images that are personal (favorite hobby, sport or pastime) to the graduate or are associated with graduation (cap or scroll).
Click here and you’ll find a great selection of graduation clip art, along with exact instructions on how to use it.
Using clip art you can make colorful envelopes, colorful favor tags, colorful place cards, colorful party hats, colorful game certificates, colorful T-shirts, and colorful save the date fridge magnets.
White paper is simplest and your normal printer paper will give great invitations.
A colorful background will look great on any kind of paper. It can also save on ink by using colored paper in place of using a colored background.
Higher quality paper will give a real quality feel to the graduation invitations. I like cardstock and blank invitation paper.
