Our graduation party idea this year is to take something from the current finacial crisis. It made us think back to the film Wall Street and we believe it will give us a strong enough identity to help guests get into character. Lots of Michesl Douglas, Charlie Sheen and Wall Street characters. Also some may dreess as floor dealers.

Graduation party costume will be power dressing, with slcik back hair, big hair, power suits, brief cases and hopefully some really old fashioned mobile phones! Also lots of monopoly dollars.

Graduation party decorations will be monopoly dollars, Wall Street jpurnals, pictures of wall street, tv screens with live wall street tv, pictures of excess like Ferraris, yachts, exotic holidays, plus the normal balloons, streamers, and blow outs. Also some bulls and bears.
Some work yet to do on Banners whcih will celebrate graduation and note the graduate's careers will be up, up, up!

The food will be buffet as we cannot afford caviare.

Table decorations will be Michael Douglas straight from the film.

Soundtrack from the film where we can use it, then into party music.

Party games will be as normal.


In Addition

The Wall Street party idea is excellent for graduation with the right crowd. The ideas based on anyone with a desire to make it big, playing the market or having fun with money then this can work really well. Perhaps I can give you some extra ideas.

You can add lots of accessories t the envelope like Monopoly money, dollar style confetti and any bull market stickers you can find.


Decorations

You have some great ideas on decorations for the Wall Street Party. Some other ideas are:

• Use board games as part of the decorations. Games like Monopoly can be set out on a table and guests can play.



• Using cardstock create lots of dollar signs to hang up.



• Use posters and photos of the famous Bull at the entrance to Wall street



• Decorate balloons with dollar signs



• At the entrance to the graduation party have a Welcome to Wall Street sign



• Find photos of all eras of Wall street. There are some amazing photos of the 1930s Wall street crash in black and white.



• Set up a screen to show the movie Wall Street



• Set up posters of Movies celebrating Wall Street and the stars in character

Favors can be board games like Monopoly and also luxury items like Wall Street themed pens and key chains.
