Video - Play and record

by Katie Smith
(United Kingdom)

Play old videos of the graduate from a baby, through childhood and the most recent activities they have been involved in. Make sure you include things such as prom, homecoming, senior sports banquets, musicals, and anything else you can think of.

Just have this playing in the background on a screen.

Alternatively, if you don't have any, or many videos, of the graduate then scan lots of photos of the graduate onto your computer and create a slide show of them.
I was at a party recently that had a slideshow of photos showing on a large flat screen TV on the wall.
I am not 100% sure how to do this but here is one idea you could investigate - if you burn lots of photos onto a CD some DVD players will load each one individually and show them as a slideshow

Video tape the party! Place the video camera on a tripod and just let it roll. This will give the graduate a keepsake to treasure and to share with others later. The best scenes can be made into photographs.
