Love & Pride

by Lida Page
(Pasadena, Texas)

The cakes and icing were store bought mixes baked in heart shaped pans. I used store bought decorations displayed as symbolic of the graduation ceremony with love and pride. We had the cake pans and stairs from a wedding cake we had made a couple of month before.

Prize Winner

Congratulations your cake has won one of the 2011 prizes.

Amazing, actually making a great cake like this is brilliant. Sometimes I see cake designs in books and know I really will not be able to make it. Good luck with all your cakes.

Eye Opener
by: Ella Downs

Until I saw this cake I was going to make what would be a routine round cake though with some cool decorations. After seeing this I will be making a books shaped cake for our mathematical son which will be complimented by a rugby ball to celebrate our World Cup win here in New Zealand.
