Free High School Graduation Speech - Privileged
This high school graduation speech is for those attending a well funded school but who are guided to benefitting others less well off. A high school graduation speech that leaves a strong, personal message can be very meaningful.
Principal Martin
Mayor Hughes
Honored Guests
Congratulations Class of 2008!!!!
I remember my time at this most wonderful High School. Mckenzie is a great institution.
The school was established by people who knew about the power of education.. They know also that this privileged area needed to breed future captains of industry, the best of professionals and successful entrepreneurs.
As you know, you lack for nothing at this school. You have the best of teachers, the best of facilities and the most positive environment.
Looking out at the graduates of 2008 I see that the school continues to nurture, challenge, and educate the best of graduates.
It is my honor to be here with you today. I know many of your parents from my time here and I have the utmost respect for who they are and what they have achieved.
So, what does graduation mean to you?
Well I hope you feel thrilled, excited and of course totally ready for your party.
You are successful young people who deserve recognition and celebration. I hope you celebrate each success as you go through life.
I hope you feel you have worked hard to achieve, there is a lasting satisfaction from that.
I hope you feel lucky, too, to have been at Ayr High. I really do urge you to keep in touch with the school and put something back in years to come.
Remember the core values you have learned in integrity and respect for others.
I wish for you that you continue to honor and respect each other. With graduation comes responsibility as a citizen. You now can look after yourself, classmates and also contribute an amazing amount to the world around you.
The next steps for you I expect will be glittering. You have the chance to follow your passion and create a successful life. I hope you give it everything you have no matter what the destination is.
When I left here I wanted to start my own business and did so successfully.
The reason I studied business is I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I had started young delivering papers, car cleaning and lots of other little ventures. I know full well what I wanted to do!
I chased after a feeling that I was in charge, has built a business and was giving great employment to others.
I expected to wake up everyday feeling exhilarated and ready to go.
Amazingly after many challenges it has turned out that way.
But, even more amazingly that has not been the ultimate thrill. Yes, it has been outstanding but it was not the peak.
The journey to the peak started just after I left here. I took part in a fund raising event for Ayr Kids Hospital.
I handed in the money and was heading for the exit when the nurse took me by the hand and led me to the burns unit. The kids clearly needed more than my $100. I left determined to do more.
Since then I have continued to raise money and of course that felt great.
Then one day I decided to really give a big some of money and my time. The feeling of contribution started to grow. I just kept on giving .
Finally I spent a few days doing nothing but volunteer work and donating more money and fund rasing from other entrepreneurs. That was the real peak!!
I would say the best way ahead is to achieve your goals, follow your passion and then push yourself for the top by giving as much as you can.
Helping others is truly the peak.
Let me congratulate you again, and wish each and everyone of you all the best for the future.

Free High School Graduation Speech - Entrepreneurs
This high school graduation speech is delivered by the Guest Speaker and asks the students to think carefully about their chosen career. The high school graduation speech makes a plea for entrepreneurs to come forward but is really asking people to think carefully about their life.
Principal Holden
Teachers of Horton High School
I expect you all are anxious to party so I hope the words I have will give you something vibrant to think about after the party!
There is every reason to have an enormous amount of satisfaction at your success. You will have worked hard, faced challenges, perhaps been overwhelmed at times.
Now you have reached your first peak - I hope you have many more.
Most of you will be going on to further your education, some ready to get to work.
My purpose in speaking to you today is to urge you to keep that good old American Entrepreneurial spirit alive and with you at all times.
So, what does that really mean?
Well I can give you some of my definitions.
An entrepreneur is a person who operates a new enterprise or venture and assumes some accountability for the inherent risks. According to Wikipedia.
To me it means being everything you can be no matter what your job is. It does not mean getting paid to do what is expected - it means giving so much more!
My Gran used to tell me that if she washed dishes she would want to be the best dishwasher in town. People would pay her more and she would have respect.
To me it means finding opportunity to improve everything around you. Don’t just work hard, but get stuck in and look for improvement. There is so much to do and you can do it!
Lets face it routine is pretty boring anyway.
To me it means being totally positive about what you do. That way you will have the best time, your mind will be on fire and you can perform miracles.
It does not mean complaining about everything and watching the clock for home time.
To me it means looking for opportunity to really benefit other people and delivering the benefits.
To me it means taking measured risks and winning more than losing. It means standing on your own feet, not worrying about what the boss thinks of you.
Of two kinds of people you can be choose wisely.
The negative, beer drinking worrier.
The positive, successful, fun filled, mentally strong person who is brilliant with all family, friends and colleagues.
I feel lucky I chose the positive route and I expect to grow, learn and develop with a smile on my face.
I wish that and more for each and everyone of you. No matter what path you choose, no matter what your passion is, follow it with everything you have got.
Best of Luck!

Free High School Graduation Speech - Community
Turn now to a high school graduation speech focussing on the local community , it's values, the place of the school and the outlook. A high school graduation speech delivered in this way draws the audience in close and leaves a powerful message.
Principal Schulz
Mayor Fellini
Honored Guests, fellow students and their families.
Congratulations to the Class of 2008.
Thank you to you all.
Thank you Principal Schulz, you have been an inspiring figure for all of us!
Thanks to those special people who have enriched out lives. Mr Herman, Mrs Auld, Mrs Harman, and of course that powerhouse of education Mrs Faulds.
My personal thanks too, to my close friends Mary, Katie and Ellie. Without your help it would not have been possible to be here today.
Thanks to my family - I do love you.
This is a proud school and neighborhood.
We are so called blue collar people and proud of it.
Our families are Police, Fire Department, Construction workers and teachers.
We help each other at all times and never leave anyone starving.
All of us students have had hard times when either we or our families were struggling.
No one was left without a friend, support and a meal on their table.
The teachers have been a close part of our team. Extra lessons, personal support and coaching have been readily available. Way beyond the normal expected.
How many areas can say that?
As a team we have achieved so much more than we could do on our own?
Our own special skills have been supplemented by the special skills of our friends.
We have grounded expectations and are grounded people as a result of or time here.
In a world of must have gadgets, me first, I want, celebrity status I believe we have the best of it here.
We have a team that will support, nurture and just love each other as we go through our lives.
I can’t wait till the next step in life!
The bonds we have formed here are irrevocable and will see us through the rest of our lives.
I urge you never to forget who you are and where you came from.
My dad has an old family friend in Scotland. She sold her business for $60m. The first thing she did was to take her very poor old school friends away for a weekend to celebrate. In fact the lady met all of them every month to stay in touch.
I know some of that spirit of community and team stays with us forever.
I am very, very sad to leave here.
But I do look forward to the strength of character we have here flourishing in the future.
I will be seeing all of you
Good Luck

Free High School Graduation Speech - Charity
This high school graduation speech is a real plea for help. The high school graduation speech has a formal opening and follows protocol and fits in very well with the school charity mission.
Principal Ayello
Honored Guests, Mr Hansen, Mrs Nur, and of course Mrs Yoki.
Congratulations Class of 2008.
Thanks to Mr Ayello for guiding us through High School.
Thanks to our teachers and Mrs Smith who held our hand in troubled times.
Our thoughts go to Mr Tough - get well soon sir.
At times like this we deserve to party.
The success we have achieved is outstanding and has set us up for the next chapter in or gifted lives.
We live in a fast changing but fun time. We now have our chance to be everything we can be to make great lives for ourselves and achieve our dreams.
I hope that each and everyone of us takes their chance to excel with a passion.
Life will give us back what we put into it.
So go for it.
Take a moment to think back to that vulnerable child entering education.
I still laugh at kindergarten photos and the obvious innocent, fun loving, joyful faces.
As we journeyed through the school system we have had nurturing, support, love from our parents, families, friends and teachers helping make sure life’s obstacles did not get in our way.
So we have had challenges but nothing we could not take.
Think then of the children who have nothing.
Imagine the obstacles they face:
- Teachers not always available
- Food and water not available
- No support
- Absent parents
- Travel issues
- No one cares
So how does this essentially fun loving child get the same chance as us.
We all know we should do something.
Well, we can.
The school has a new programme called School Aid.
The pledge is:
- Feed, water and clothe each child.
- Provide a teacher
- Provide facilities
- Provide basic medical care.
This can be your legacy. I urge you to make a commitment to contribute for the rest of your life.
Everyday these kids need your help - so lets not delay.
Remember, as you become increasingly successful in life you will have helped many others to have their own special graduation day.
Best of luck to each and everyone of you. I hope to hear how well you are doing in future - stay in touch.
Make a difference!
