High School Graduation Poems - Off to College

You’re off to college all too soon
No more curfew, no more rules
You’re the boss, you call the tune
Living life to the full.

At the start you will feel shaky
Many nights you’ll feel alone
Some days will be pretty hazy
These times will make you think of home

But all this will be forgotten
The difficult times don’t last long
Your new life will certainly blossom
The greatest times will be going

The hard work will be severe
The courses intellectually challenging
But you will rise up and persevere
And surely you will end up winning

The fun will start and never bore
You’ll meet lifelong friends, the party never ends
You’ll laugh like never before
And sleep till late, only to start again

Be certain about your future direction
You’ll succeed and be a star all right
A strong person, ready for any occasion
Go to it with all your might.

High School Graduation Poems - Give It All You’ve Got

Don’t graduate and sit back too long
Don’t relax in your contentment
Tomorrow you’ll be new and forlorn
Fresh and green, not confident

Give your all is what you want
Charge forward in everyway
Don’t hold back on any front
Your new life is not far away

Only the hardest challenges are worth it
You were born to succeed
Your time is precious so use it
Make your life a masterpiece

High School Graduation Poems - Didn’t Know I’d Miss You

Instead of fear and high adrenalin
Of perseverance, hard work and strife
Graduation has let me see I can win
I feel a rush, so full of life

Only now can I see what I will miss
My friends, my family and my comfort zone
Will all now disappear into the mist
You will all be gone, I’ll be alone

I did not expect to shed any tears
I find it all just not what I expected
Graduation was not supposed to come with fears
The best of times have passed unnoticed

The closest friends, the strongest mentors
So I must say goodbye to each of you
The happiest janitor, the best educators
All of a sudden I realise I’ll miss you

High School Graduation Poems - Support The Charity

We are all happily celebrating
We are at the end of the stress
We will be up all night partying
We deserve to enjoy some excess

Can we also think of others
Not just those we keep in touch with happily
But also those who really need us
In that local hospital charity

We have supported the kids for years
We have worked there for free
We have washed car and cycles
And sold our homemade cookies

Many of us ran 5 miles
Cycled through the country
To give the kids needed supplies
By raising lots of money

Now is not the time to walk away
We must always remember to do something
To help them and raise money
They need us for simple daily living

Once you have finished the party
Don’t walk away in the excitement
Without thinking of our charity
Now is the time for a long commitment

No matter where you live
A difference you can make
Your support you surely can give
Your money they can take

Let’s keep the hospital going
And at the front of our minds.

High School Graduation Poems - We Need To Change

Graduation itself is quite epic
We have achieved the biggest milestone
We feel satisfied and happy
Relaxed in who we have become
But next there is the big world
Where people work fast and hard
In a way we have not yet known
We have made a brilliant start
But that is all it is, a start
Next we need to open up
To new things and new people
We need to tackle bigger things
And make our contribution
We will need to be leaders
We will need to care for family
We will need to be more intelligent
We will need to see the bigger picture
We will care for our employees
We will earn the money
We will change the world
Of course we can do it
Of course we have the brains
But it is not a test
It is the human race.

High School Graduation Poems - When Will I See You Again

Suddenly it is graduation day
For that we long have waited
No more hard work night and day
I do feel very excited

The intensity of the past few years
Has been matched by our fun as friends
Despite work, stress and a few tears
We have stayed loyal to the end

We have laughed together
Lived in the same apartment
Studied hard together
Even played in the same quartet

But suddenly I realise in horror
I am going to Detroit
And you are going to Florida
We will be thousands of miles apart

Our new jobs will keep us busy
Our new lives will be hectic also
We will settle down and be happy
Family will come along too

So when will we meet again
Some reunion in 20 years
It all seems so far away
Perhaps I need to accept my fears

I hope we keep up each day
It will be good to hear your news
But most of all I do pray
We meet in person soon

High School Graduation Poems - Don’t Look Back Too Often

At graduation thoughts turn to the future
Soon you will be living where you need to be
First at college and then even further
Living totally independently

The pace of life keeps increasing
Getting ever faster and faster
Keep moving forward and succeeding
The next challenge is just around the corner

Soon the past is firmly in the past
A distant memory, pleasant and charming
As life goes on leave it in the past
You need to make your new life outstanding

We are your family and love you dearly
We just want your life to be brilliant
We hope you look back with love to family
But only occasionally as you find your own fulfilment

The best of your life is unfolding
But do look back occasionally
Think about family life, smiling
Let love sustain you for the journey

High School Graduation Poems - Dad's Graduation Poem

Thank you to my dad
For being the only parent I had
He has helped me study
He told me not to worry
As I would graduate one day
For that I surely did pray
It all worked out well in the end
So thanks to dad for being my friend
But most of all
He loves us all

High School Graduation Poems - The Future

Graduation has been and gone
It was a blast, you really did celebrate
Friends and family made sure you were not alone
Being successful was really great

Looking back it is very tempting
Remembering love, friendship and good days
Taking comfort from family things
It really is hard to walk away

Your new life brings a different view
Occasionally look back, always happily
Great things are in front of you now
Right behind you is your family

College days will have lots of amazement
Your life will be fun and full
Work hard to gain your achievements
It really will be most wonderful

After college you will go so far
Business achievements and giving to charity
A person of substance, a mom, a star
A woman who nurtures her own family

You may have fears in your head
Today may have a little sadness
But don’t look back, instead
Look forward to all that happiness
