Greek Graduation Party

Our graduation party idea is to tap into the wonderful culture of Greece. We had thought about a toga style party, olympics or even a modern sophisticated Greece.

In the end we are going for a Greek Taverna style, held at our local unique Taverna. They are excellent at hosting Greek food tasting nights, musical evenings and of course traditiona Greek dancing. Interestingly they act as a gallery for Greek paintings with wonderful white washed villages, historic sites and bustling modern Athens.

In fact the whole thing could not be easier as the taverna will work with us to decorate with a combination of Greek scenes and our daughters graduation banner and photos.

The Taverna are helping us to use their printer to have greek style invitations, place cards and favor bags.

We love the food already so couldn't be happier to have friends and family to the graduation party.



In addition

The distinctive look and feel of a Greek Graduation Party will make this a winner. I hope I can add a few things that will help you.

The best invitations will probably incorporate the wonderful Greek look and feel with the graduation theme. With the most amazing background of Aristotle, for example, the great Greek thinkers can be a part of your party.

Add any accessories that assist building the Greek theme. You should be able to find Greek flag stickers and confetti.



Decorations


As part of blending the Greek Graduation Party theme with graduation you can create areas of the party which celebrate the best of the ancient Greeks like Aristotle. A poster and some key information would be great, including quotes from the great person. Also

• Find photos of Greek people going about their day such as villagers, olive groves and in Athens.



• Photos of family and friends on vacation visiting the key Greek tourist areas.



• Sunset pictures on Greek island beaches



• Greek pottery and artefacts display



• Impressions of ancient Greek games, battles, soldiers and the Senate

You can go all out to mix modern and ancient Greece to create a wonderful feel at your Greek Graduation Party.


Favors can be a ix of graduation key chains, Greek themed pens and Greek themed mini flags and pottery.


The music at your Greek Graduation Party can be the graduate’s favorite and Greek music mixed in.
