Great Memories

by Jane McLachlan

I have a graduation speech which is full of thanks, praise for teachers, family and friends. I am very happy to be doing that.
I also plan to look to the future, taking lessons learned and applying them to all aspects of our lives.

I do hope to leave everyone with a smile on their face, looking forward to the rest of their celebrations.

The question I have is really should I be brave and include some humor.

My natural style is to look at the funny side of life, laugh a lot and enjoy the moment. However speaking in public is making me a bit nervous and I am concerned that my jokes would fall flat and my nerves would increase.

What is the best approach here?
