How to Personalize Your Free Graduation Printables

1. Create a text box that completely covers all the wording you want to replace. NB. If you need to use precision when placing your text box then press CTRL & the Up and Down keys.


2. Enter your own customized wording in the text box.


3. Please note - you can type the names of those you are inviting on each invite and print them separately (or even do a mail merge if your a computer whiz) but if you choose to hand write those you are inviting on your invitations then I'd recommend a calligraphy set - www.joann.com a lovely "Zig Calligraphy" set.

How to Print your Free Graduation Printables

1. Open a word document.


2. Set the printer to the desired paper size.


3. Insert the image.


4. Adjust the margins to zero.


5. Adjust the image to cover the full size of the paper. Do this by clicking on the image and dragging one of the corner arrows.
6. To ensure everything looks just right go to File, Print Preview.


7. Print a "cut to size" test sheet to be certain that the font, font size and placement of your message will be as you desire. Make any necessary adjustments, then print your invitations.

Tip - Mark an X on one side of the test sheet prior to printing. This will help you determine which way up to place the invitation in the printer.

Free Graduation Printables Paper

The streamers design is colorful and will be great on white paper. The quality of paper could be the printer paper you normally use. To give a more card like feel and perhaps add some quality to it you could use cardstock or blank invitation paper.

Printables Wording 

Good wording on your graduation invites can sum up the graduate's achievement, inspire guests to attend the party and perhaps even make them smile.

Remember to include the basics such as venue, time, date, dress code, food and drink arrangements, RSVP and perhaps "no gifts".

Make Your Own Graduation Invitations 

You can very simply make your own streamers designs. You can add creative colors and clip art too.

Using "Microsoft Word" and "Paint", which you may well have on your PC, along with clip art you can make invitations in a few minutes.

The simplest process is:

1. Open a new doc in your word processing tool and set up the page size - choose File and Page setup.


2. Now right-click your mouse over the clip art (instructions below) you’d like to use and select “copy”. Now place your cursor on the area where you want the clip art to go and right-click and select “paste” to add the clip art to your doc.


3. Lastly, add some text and use some word art as well to personalize it.

The colors you use could be school colors or the graduate's favorite colors.

There is lots of different clip art. You could choose scrolls, caps, or clip art that is synonymous with the graduate.
