Graduation - MIS

Please help me! I need a principal's high school and elementary speech. Desperate.
In Reply
First off orgnaising the speech and getting some material gathered together is best. Then the speech can be written around a key theme.
A Principal will clearly need to thank many people for their efforts over the year. Teachers, technical staff, gardening etc. Alos Parents for their support and Fund Raisers. Perhaps there are some stand out contributions to mention.
Also Speakers and Graduation Dy organisers.
Material
I would write out any funny stories, personal observations, and occasions.
Next has there been a school focus on a charity?
What real successes have there been, including sports, chess etc?
Has there been a theme to the teaching. Perhaps academic excellence as well as contributing to others.
What is the school codes of conduct or even history.
Has there been areas of excellence.
Has this been a particularly successful class?
Hopefully looking through all this you can see a theme which fits for each grades.
Start
A formal start recognises the key people at graduation, welcomes families and recognises the students.
Get in early with your congratulations. This gets everyone on side.
Make your thanks.
Signpost your theme.
Middle
Use your material and review the past years. The lives of the graduates through your eyes would be good. You will known how hard they have worked, how tough it has been, how much fun special events have been and how well they have achieved.
Personal stories should be used too.
Today
Celebrate the graduation day, it is fun!
Looking Forward
For Elementary school the children will be using their skills and amazing learning to move on in their schooling. Are they ready and able to step up. Perhaps they are a great class and are totally ready for the next step.
For High School, they will be moving on to great things. They will have proved they can achieve success and should be ready for more. Their lives are changing and they should be able to step forward confidently.
Hope they keep in touch.
This is just a suggested way forward. If you wish, use another form to submit your draft speech. I am very happy to take a look at it. Feel free to ask more questions!
