Graduation Favors Ideas

For our daughters graduation party we decided to try and mix up he favors to represent different parts of the celebration. The party was to celebrate Ruby as her own person, the graduation and the part our guests have played in our lives over the years. In order to make this work we filled the graduation favors bags with a keychain and pen with Ruby’s photo on them, a photo frame with class of 2011 on them so guests could add their own photo and a plant for each guest to grow at home. We also added the usual stuff like candy, balloons and blowouts.

We are having an Eco themed party for my graduation. Everything is going to be Green in some way and that includes the party favors. I am very proud of this. The favors bags are recycled material and can be used again for shopping for a long time to come. We added some graduation caps and a photo to them for fun.
The actual favors are as Green as we can make them. We made bookmarks for everyone from recycled card and decorated them for the class year. My Gran is making cupcakes from organic ingredients. Our local area produces beautiful flowers so we have ordered enough to make a small posy. Also we have recipe cards so everyone can enjoy getting the best from local produce.

My family are best at baking, this is their big interest. As part of the graduation favors we have arranged to make muffins, cookies and English style biscuits with a ginger flavor. Guests will get one of each in their bag along with the usual pen, foe example.

We are having an Italian themed party which is really centred around a large dinning table. We will be eating and talking late into the night in this people based setting. We had arranged to have pasta, sauces, olive oil and cheese in a little basket as the party favors. However our local store are selling books very cheaply right now so we bought Italian recipe books for those who would use them and Italian travel books for those who don’t cook. It just illustrates that a bargain can change things a little.

Our graduate love practical jokes. He spends hours making fun of friends and family, although we hope he will grow out of it. We got him to write out how he did some of his best ones and we printed them on cards. They are just a little keepsake all about Jack that guests will love.
