LEAVING YOU

by Nicey
(Milford)

I think this is a wonderful poem. I would be very grateful if you could supply the author's name so that we can give them the credit they deserve.

Leaving you will be so hard
I know that we will be scarred.
Through the years we have grown up
Now we are about to split up.
It hurts me inside
To know that you will confide
In someone else who isn't me
But they will never be what I try to be.
I'll always be there for you
And I'll always stay true.
You are a part of me
That everyone will see.
You are my sister and friend
And we'll be that way until the end.
Don't ever let anyone take my place
Because they will never face
All the times that we've shared
Even when we never really cared.
All our memories will be locked up tight
Even all our stupid fights.
The laughs, the tears, the cries, the fears
Have built up through the years.
I'll never let us be apart
And you will always remain in my heart.

I MISS THE OLD DAYS,ITS LIKE I BEEN STUCK IN THE DAZE.
SOMETIMES I WISH I CAN JUST GO BACK IN TIME AND LIVE THE LIFE I TAMED.I DIDN'T FEEL ANY HURT OR PAIN.
AND I AM SAYING THIS POEM TODAY BECAUSE I KNOW I HAVE A GREAT FAITH.

It Was Fun

by Jennifer Hamilton
(Seattle)

It Was Fun

My heart sinks at the thought

We’ll soon be saying goodbye

A friendship that can’t be bought

Might just wither and die

I never thought Id always be laughing

Satire, irony and jokes you find

The laughs just keep on coming

My serious nature is left behind

There have been times a little tough

Workload and deadlines make us sad

But together we’ve faced all that stuff

With all the fun it was not so bad

The future will be a little harder

Without your sense of humor and your smile

So e-mail jokes every wee while

And keep our lives somehow closer

Goodbye

by Jane Paton
(Colorado)

When we met we were quite lonely
Away from family and missing home
We found a group who became friends
We thought it would be to the end

We laughed and loved through college years
Little knowing that graduation would bring tears
Our time has come to say goodbye
And today we know we'll cry

But tomorrow I will lose my fears
And have a smile from ear to ear
As I recall the things we've done
Together, the four of us as one

Good Bye 8th grade

by Sierra LaFollette
(Austin Indiana)

This year is gone and it's time to move on,
High School here I come,
The stage and people,
Laughter and sorrow,
This year will never leave us,
Walking across the stage,
Thinking about all of the better days,
Well All we care about is that we achieved our goals.
Good Bye Middle School Hello High School!!!

The End Of The Team

by Hugh Jackson
(Glasgow, UK)

The End Of The Team

We were very young and naïve
When we all met for the first time
As we tackled our college careers
Our lives soon became entwined

We’ve rarely been apart since then
Together we worked out how to be settled
We’ve helped each other to study
Some have even double dated

When times were tough we worked together
Teamwork helped out with any poor grades
When homesickness came we rallied round
The team really has defined our lives

And now we join in celebration
Sharing each others success as a team
But deep down we know it is over
College and the team we are about the leave

The joy in each other continues at a distance
Sharing on Facebook but not as a team
Our new challenges will be faced alone
This sometimes seems like the end of a dream
