Free Graduation Speech - Goal AchievementThanks to Principal McKenzie. I am very lucky to be here speaking to you all today. By lucky I mean how fortunate i have been to have help, advice and friendship from many of you here. I thank you all. A few years ago things were not exactly running a smooth course toward graduation. I was blaming everyone for me failures and had little direction. Enough was enough. I decided to take charge of my life and approached Mrs Naismith for help. After plenty of support from Mrs Naismith I agreed I would actually like to be a Dentist. Seemed pretty strange at the time. From there we worked out the grades I would need to get to Dental School and then set the goal of achieving them. I was pretty unsure that it could be done but was clear i would perevere. That moment of taking responsibility set a course which has been fantastically successful. I wrote out my goal and created a success picture. My mind seemed to lock into the goal and I seemed to fight hard to achieve each step. In interestingly when I stopped my goals focus for a time it seemed that my progress slowed. I like CSI Miami and have always loved the way Horatio focusses on his goal of getting the villain. I very much recommend goal setting for the power it brings into your life. Throw in a healthy dose of perseverance and you have a great combination. The journey has been significantly enriched by help from the teaching staff, my family and great friends. For all of us there are new goals to set and achieve as I think God intended us to use our power to the fullest. I hope we can all have goals that make a big difference to as many people as possible. Good Luck to everyone. ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~
Free Graduation Speech - Continually ImprovingThank you for your kind words. I know from personal experience that the teaching staff here are brilliant at breaking down what can seem like an awesome amount of work into small manageable chunks which you can learn successfully and move onto the next part. I know it is tough to be honest about yourself. But I did think some years back that I would be a complete failure. I found myself overwhelmed by the college workload and could not see any way out of it. I am glad I approached the teaching staff annd Mrs Moretti in particular. She helped me see that any big goal can be broken down and that all I had to do was work hard and focus on improving as I went along. For me that was hard as I do not like getting feedback, but I did agree to do it. At that stage I still felt I would drop out but Mrs Moretti did take great care to explain that when I plan a piece of college work, execute the plan and then get tutor feedback I would always have a succesful experiment. Successful as long as I used the information to adjust my thinking and improve for the next time. There is a great quote by Newton D Baker: The person who graduates then stops learning is uneducated the day after that. I have many times asked for help from the teachers here to help me make lots of the improvements needed. Luckily for me they are only too willing to help. By working on small, steady and constant improvments I have graduated and do feel fantastic. I have applied the same principles to many areas of my life. My soccer team, swimming and even my own little web business. In life we are all going to face overwhelming times. All of us can relax, plan our approach to meet the challenges and then concentrate on the first successful step. After all the journey of a thousand steps starts with the first successful one. The future holds great promise for each of us. I heartily recommend that you never sto trying to improve and also help improve the lives of those who are touched by you. Never Stop Learning On this, your graduation day all stand and give cheer to honor you for all the work you've done to get you here. As we rise and give applause be sure you don't forget that learning is not over as your future plans are met. May you always be a listener and learn from all you meet always keep a student's spirit and your life will be complete.
Thanks to our much valued Principal and excellent teaching staff. Good luck! ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~
Free Graduation Speech - Inspirational InfluencesI like to look around me and see great things in our world. Looking at the group of proud students and parents here today reminds me clearly that there are great people all around us who we can learn from. A few years ago my Dad asked me who my heroes were. I love golf so chose the magnificent Tiger Woods and I love films so also chose Denzil Washington. From these two superstars I learned the power of mental strength, mastering your chosen field, and work being so good it is like play. My Dad asked me to read about Andrew Carnegie who some of you will know started with very little, made a fortune and then promptly went about giving it back to needy causes. I learned from Mr Carnegie the power of hard work and how giving back to the community makes you more of a whole person. From these wonderful people I have been inspired to work hard, achieve worthy goals, master my main subjects, take on challenges, and put a sense of fun into all my endeavours. I have also learned just how awesome it is to give back to my friends, fellow students and the local community. I think tutoring those who are struggling a little has given me almost as much as achieving for myself. Nothing To Fear There's nothing to fear - you're as good as the best, As strong as the mightiest, too. You can win in every battle or test; For there's no one just like you. There's only one you in the world today; So nobody else, you see, Can do your work in as fine a way: You're the only you there'll be! So face the world, and all life is yours To conquer and love and live: And you'll find the happiness that endures In just the measure you give; There's nothing too good for you to possess, Nor heights where you cannot go: Your power is more than belief or guess - It is something you have to know. There is nothing to fear - you can and you will. For you are the invincible you. Set your foot on the highest hill - There's nothing you cannot do.
~~ Author Unknown ~~ So, find your passion and work will be like play. Just look at the delight on the teaching staff as they go about their jobs. "The sky is the limit when your heart is in it". Thanks to principal, Mrs Hughes, my friends, my colleagues and also love to Mum and Dad for bringing so much into my life. Being inspired to achieve is fantastic and even better when you have great people around you. You each have the future backing of all of us if yu need it. I urge you to keep in touch and help others too. Thank You ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~
Free Graduation Speech - LessonsPrincipal Hamilton, Honored Guests, Graduates and their families Firstly let me congratulate the Class of 2011. This special day is one to be remembered for the rest of your life.I am honoured to be back at Horton School and very humble that you should invite me back to speak. It is a very hot day so I will keep my remarks brief and to the point. Although the journey has been hard you have passed through in some style and graduated. I really hope you appreciate the wonderful things you have learned and take them with you into the future. I certainly have used many of the lessons as I have built my business and feel very proud of my time here at Horton. There is no real magic formula for success in life, indeed the things you have leaned here are the basic building blocks of your future life. First off you have had a target of achieving graduation all through school which you have achieved with the grades you require. To achieve those grades you will have worked very hard whilst using the knowledge of expert teachers and mentors. You will continually have received feedback personally and through your grades. This will have let you adjust your approach where necessary. Here and there you will have made sacrifices that seemed a little unfair at the time. You will have held yourself to high standards of personal conduct as without that you would have the grades but really would not be a person of substance. You also, with help, love and support of your family will have balanced your life with pursuits and family life. This is the best way to live your life. Today you get to celebrate the results of all your efforts. You really deserve to have your moment. I hope your party is awesome, but you stay safe. The future will be your own making which is a great thing given the kind of people you are and the lessons you have learned. I really do implore you to set goals you are passionate about, work hard, get feedback from respected people, maintain your own personal integrity and help other people, plus balance your life in the best way. Good Luck ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~ ~~~~~ free graduation speech ~~~~~
Free Graduation Speech - RootsMy family are immigrants from Scotland . We have settled very well here in Aberdeen and take pride in joining in American life with all it has to offer. My family have been very supportive in my drive to get to medical school. They have also been very keen to keep our whole family grounded. My parents have a very hard working ethos. They had very little money growing up in Scotland. Indeed the local families would feed anyone who was having financial hardship. That was a pleasure for them to be able to help. A great memory for me is my successful Dad back home in Scotland helping Gran in the kitchen, running errands for her neighbour and being called wee Charlie. Although we have prospered here we save money, don't buy wasteful goods and importantly give money and time to those who need our help. I think this has made us feel very proud to be from Aberdeen and determined to help out all we can. Quickly I realised that I was expected to work very hard always, never forget who I was and to help others. We all love new cars, big houses and expensive goods but they can't help you pass your exams. I take great pride in graduating, I feel blessed by the help I have had from all the teaching staff, I love the progress made by the small group I tutor and I am very proud to have been at Aberdeen school. For the future I know that if we all remember who we really are we will not forget to do the right things and will importantly maintain a sense of perspective on what is real. I urge you not to forget the community you have been part of, worked beside and partied with.In years to come I hope we can all help each other in the same way we have for the past few years. Why spend time at this great institution only to forget the values. The foundations of your future success were built here. Dream Big by Author unknown If there were ever a time to dare, To make a difference To embark on something worth doing It is now. Not for any grand cause, necessarily – But for something that tugs at your hear Something that is worth your aspiration Something that is your dream. You owe it to yourself To make your days count. Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch.
Dream big. Know, though, That things worth doing Seldom come easy, There will be times when you want to Turn around Pack it up and call it quits Those times tell you That you are pushing yourself And that you are not afraid to learn by trying.
Persist. Because with an idea, Determination and the right tools, You can do great things. Let your instincts, your intellect And let your heart guide you.
Trust. Believe in the incredible power Of the human mind Of doing something that makes a difference Of working hard Of laughing and hoping Of lasting friends Of all the things that will cross your path
Next year The start of something new Brings the hope of something great. Anything is possible There is only one you And you will pass this way but once. Do it right.
