Mrs Hamilton, Mrs Fulton, Mrs Robertson, Doonfoot Class of 2009 and families. What a proud a truly emotional day we are having. Being here at Doonfoot Kindergarten to see such a wonderful class is fantastic. Congratulation Class of 2009 on graduating from kindergarten, well done to each of you. Speaking on behalf of the parents I think we find ourselves at one of the happiest days of our lives and yours too. The parents may look like they are in tears but we are actually bursting with pride and joy.
For each of your Class I wish to say well done. To Ailsa, Ewan, Ian, Jack, Heather, Sophie, Emma, Dixie, James, Jean, Gemma, Ruby, John, Martin, Esther and Ryan, you are all little stars. I know from your teachers how hard you have worked, how much you have achieved, how you keep a smile on your face and how well you learn all about numbers, letters, words and nature. Every parent loves to visit the kindergarten and see all your displays. I love your artwork, number board, letter board and words and of course the great photos. You should all be very proud of yourself. To each teacher I say thank you. We give you our thanks for loving, nurturing, supporting and doing so much for our children. You have taught them with a high level of skill and helped them achieve a huge amount in a short period of time. They have all grown so much as individuals too. We are very grateful for everything you have done.
Now children you are ready to make the next step in your education when you start grade school. You will be stars there too. All the parents have total confidence in you. So today I hope you enjoy your graduation day. I know there is a great party just about to begin.
Thank you.

Doonfoot Kindergarten Graduation Speeches
I find this to be quite uplifting as I can imagine giving this kind of speech at my son's kindergarten graduation next year.

Great! by: Ian Jenner
Well done, I am sure this great speech will have thrilled the little graduates. Identifying them by name is a great way to go! I expect they will have been walking tall after you raised their spirits up. I hope you felt great too after giving the speech.

Keep It Real by: Rowena Bright
I very much like your sense of the kindergarten and the children. It comes across in a few words what the school and the occasion means to everyone. Congratulations on this excellent speech. I can almost imagine what an emotional time it must have been as you spoke to the children. As a teacher I know how we forget about ourselves at times and it is very meaningful when your hard work is recognised, as long as this comes after the children have been fully praised.
If anyone is reading this I hope they find an inspiring speech for the graduates and a little place in their speech for the teachers and volunteers. Keeping it real with actual praiseworthy material is the best way forward.
