2009 Graduation Cake

by Angie Mitchell
(Pinetops, NC, USA)

A moist yellow sponge cake is iced using homemade butter-cream icing.

White butter-cream icing covered the cake. Finishing touches were made with the addition of a graduate figure, graduate cap, a diploma and black graduate cap candy sprinkles.

Great Look
by: Busy Mom

I love this one too. Simple but really does have a good impact. I expect to take lots of photos of our twins beside their cake and one like his will look great. Great thing is you can have any kind of base cake which for us may well be strawberry, but that is just for the graduates.

Classic
by: Luara Robinson

I have been looking for a cake design for my sons graduation next year. I may be starting early but I do like to be organised. I love this one as it is classical in design with simple, elegant touches that all add up to a great graduation cake. My friends are great but we do compete a little bit in fun to have the best birthday cakes etc so I hope to base my cake on this one. Congratulations.
